De-Rose-Butt

AS Roma's Brazilian defender Cicinho checking out his teammate Daniele De Rossi's rear end... during their Italian serie A football match against Livorno.

And it pretty much looks like he's getting there.

He should check the front side as well. Hairly appriciated!

In the meantime I'm checking out Livorno's Francesco Tavano, walking around and looking hot in the background... Well, that's what this match is about! Or what do you think about Roma's Philippe Mexes (right) and Livorno's Francesco Tavano fighting for the ball(s)?

Shewfelt eliminated!

Another hottie we won't see again in Beijing: Olympic champion Kyle Shewfelt was disappointed with the score of 15.525 the judges gave him for his floor routine that left him 11th and short of the final – the event in which he was trying to defend his Olympic title. And the 26-year-old from Calgary was knocked out of the final in the vault after placing ninth with a score of 16.350. A couple of fare-well pics for us:

Good bye Greek God.

Day one of the Olympics, and right the first doping incident. Bulging Greek sprinter Tassos Gousis has failed a doping test days before he was due to compete in the 200 metres sprint competition.

Not sure if the drugs were also involved in creating the bulge the 29-years-old native of Corfu is carrying around. It's quite nice. Anyway, I'd prefer the naturally grown one. As we won't see this Greek athlete in Beijing anymore, let's have a final look...

Anastasios should definitely make use of the time at home to get a hair cut. They seem to have taken advantage of the drugs as well...

Surprisingly... Olympics!

What a positive shock upon my sleepy arrival in the office this morning... As usual, the three major Canadian national newspapers were on my desk, waiting to get paid more or less of my attention. Completely different today. From two out of the three the same giant cover shot striked my eyes and made this morning moment almost "not appropriate for work".
The shirtless muscular torso of Canadian kayaker Adam van Koeverden in its full glory! What a sight. Reading the headline quickly refreshed my mind: It's Olympics! I somehow completely forgot this
and didn't pay any attention to when it would start. Lazy as I am, I haven't even fully posted what I had planned to post about the Euro2008 football championships, and now we're here with the Olympics! Incredible. Where's this summer gone!
A-ny-way... Hunky Adam is NOW! He was the flag bearer for Canada in todays opening ceremonies (wich I found not half imressive as Adam on the covers of the newspapers.) Adam will be Canada's best medal hope in Beijing, as the reigning Olympic and world champion, as well as world record holder in the men's K-1 500 metres. A few more pics of Adam to heat you and me up for the upcoming kayak events in Beijing...
