Euro2008 - Retrospective

I know, it's pretty late. Had zero time for postings during the tournament, but some of the hunks that moved the entire European continent (and some of us Expats abroad) for three weeks are just too hot to let them sit in my harddrive. A quite random selection of my favourite shots, in country-by-country posts over the next couple of days... Let's get started with...

Switzerland - one half of the host country duo - was out of the tournament before they even were fully warmed-up. But some of the alpine soccer cuties looked pretty good even in the moment of sadness...

Like 22y/o striker Johan Vonlanthen

For sure we can't let out the Swiss wannabe Beckham Valon Behrami...

Even though Behrami is trying hard to impress us and seems to be interested in the male confines, I rather favour his teammates Ludovic Magnin, who looks good on the grandstand...

...Eren Derdiyok, who looks very good on the field...

...and Philippe Senderos, who is not the typical hottie, but my choice of future Swiss soccer playing husband... and nicely wet in the right spots...

Hot are definitely the Swiss fans...

Now I understand...

...why Baseball is a sport well worth seeing!
I didn't really like it, until now. I assume that being European means having another sports-appreciation DNA... But Dr. Brandon Ketron of the Maryland Blue Crabs cared this disease, in an impressive short time!

Gettin' there...

... at San Siro stadium in Milan.

...AC Milan's Alberto Paloschi (bottom) making his way between the muscular legs of Sampdoria's Daniele Gastaldello...

Land on ME!

I would not complain if 24 y/o Inocencio Lario from Spain landed on me, last weekend in Poland, instead of in the less rewarding sand...
But (un)fortunately his equally hot 20 y/o teammate Adrian Gavira Collado was quicker, preparing himself for the landing, and providing a rather seldom sight in beachvolleyball - bulging!

And finally, they landed on each other. A nice sight. And a nice imagination.
